Collar & Ruff Leather Swatch

Hardware - Brass, Nickel Plate, Matte Black and Stainless Steel when requested.

Biothane - Biothane is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It's basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and weldable.
IMPORTANT: Holographic prints are not as damage resistant as flat coloured prints. Avoid hard usage, long exposure to all water types and scuffing/rubbing.

How long will my order take to make?
LEATHER: Due to high demand, I have introduced a standard 4 week turnaround. This is a turnaround for building only, mock ups and posting is not included in the 4 weeks unless otherwise discussed.
BIOTHANE: 3 weeks, usually faster.
Turnaround represents the time between your order payment being received and the gear being finished. I will advise longer turnarounds where necessary, for instance in the case your order contains custom items or features.

Can Ready To Ship collars be adjusted? Most collars can be lengthened or shortened slightly by adding extra holes - just ask. I can also change out stones and gems for different colours.

I have a design in mind - can you make it? This is what I do best! Complete the form in this listing for leather and this listing for Biothane.

How do I care for my collar? You will receive detailed care instructions with your order in the box. Here are the main points:

The leather is pre-treated, however it will get dirty from time to time – they’re dog collars. A wipe down with a damp rag will get most dirt off; or if it is dry, use a little leather conditioner gently rubbed in with a cotton rag.

Lighter coloured leathers will darken with age but how quickly is largely due to usage. Not allowing your dog to swim or play in mud in these collars is recommended but the occasional dip with a good wipe afterwards should be fine. Exposure to chlorinated and salt water is not advised.

Hardware can dull depending on the collar usage. A little metal polish brings back the shine and removes faint scratches. Brass naturally ages and develops a patina that you can re-brighten with a gentle brass cleaner.

I do recommend not using leather gear in water as it will dry out the leather plus any damage done whilst it is wet will be greater than if it were dry.
